​EVENTS COMMITTEE 

​

The Events Committee is responsible for organizing events and social gatherings that help promote camaraderie amongst neighbors.

 

Ice Cream Social - (May)

Annual Crab Feast/Block Party - (June/July)

National Night Out - (August)

Holiday Party - (December)

(*Note:  Due to the ongoing presence of COVID-19, all in-person gatherings and events will be on hold until it is determined that such activities can be held in a healthy and safe environment for residents of West Arlington.)

PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE

​

The Public Safety Committee will also oversee the creation and operations of a neighborhood watch program and serve as a liaison for the community and police. 

​

SPECIAL PROJECTS COMMITTEE

The Special Projects Committee will oversee special projects within West Arlington

Penhurst Park (undergoing updates)

West Arlington Park (beautification project)

West Arlington Water Tower (renovation of tower)

WELCOME COMMITTEE

​

The Welcome Committee makes new residents feel more at home and make the transition process much easier. Members of this committee will drop by and greet new homeowners. They can also help familiarize the new homeowners with community resources and encourage participation in the association.

CODE ENFORCEMENT COMMITTEE

​

This committee will make 311 requests to address code enforcement issues such as illegal dumping, abandoned vehicles, and other code violations.
